About Us

Hi from Jim and Diana Lockett,

We are the new owners of Wind Drift Resort as of Memorial Day 2020. After 30 years in our respective careers, we are excited to begin this new chapter of our lives. Diana grew up in Eagle River, her parents owned the Hiawatha Motel, and is happy to be back home. Jim is an avid fisherman and very handy at almost everything. If there is anything you need during your stay, we are sure to be able to help.

Located just 20 miles north of Eagle River, home of the World Championship Snowmobile Derby, Wind Drift Resort offers some of the best fishing in Northern Wisconsin/Upper Peninsula of Michigan

Lac Vieux Desert, a Wisconsin/Michigan boundary water, is the home of the World Record Tiger Musky! Walleye, northern pike, and panfish also abound in the 4,300-acre headwaters of the Wisconsin River.
